Your app's screen recording placed on the laptop or phone in a real clip.

- **Pipeline**: Motion graphics (vector): everything in a basic edit plus animated titles, charts, screens and tracked objects.
- **Format**: 9:16
- **Upload**: A clip with a laptop, monitor or phone in it, and a screen recording of your app.

## The prompt

Type your own words into the fields: the [BLANKS] fill in as you go. Copy it and send it to Claude or ChatGPT with Cut Express connected.

Prompt

```
I uploaded a clip of [THE SCREEN IN THE CLIP] and a screen recording of [YOUR PRODUCT]. Put the recording on that screen.
- Inspect the clip with screen: true at the second the scene starts, check the four corners against the grid and fix them if they're off.
- The screen recording plays on that screen, warped into its corners, with a soft glow (about 0.3) on what's around it.
- Scene 1 (3 s): the clip with the app on the screen. Scene 2 (4 s): the screen recording itself, full frame, with a punch-in on [THE FEATURE TO SHOW].
- Text at the top in scene 1: "[HOOK LINE]".
- A soft click sound when the punch-in lands.
Total length about [LENGTH IN SECONDS] seconds. Show me the corners and the timeline before you render.
```

## The blanks

- **[THE SCREEN IN THE CLIP]**: What the screen is, for example "a MacBook on a desk, filmed from the side".
- **[YOUR PRODUCT]**: The product's name and what it does in one line, for example "Lumen, a budgeting app for freelancers".
- **[THE FEATURE TO SHOW]**: The one thing in the app the viewer should notice.
- **[HOOK LINE]**: The first words on screen, the reason to keep watching, in under ten words.
- **[LENGTH IN SECONDS]**: How long the finished video runs, as a number of seconds. Reels and Shorts hold best between 15 and 60.

## Tips

- A screen that stays still works best: film on a tripod or hold very steady. Screens that move a lot aren't tracked yet.
- Ask to see the corners on the gridded frame before rendering; a corner off by a little shows as a warped picture.
